Anyone in need of some healthy stress relief? Perhaps in the market to cross off an unexplored bucket-list activity? Looking for the perfect opportunity to showcase your hidden talent for holding a broom?
This is an open call out to all UBC Psychiatry residents and staff who are interested in some social bonding over the great Canadian sport of CURLING. We have rented two sheets at the Vancouver curling club on April 27th from 6:30-8:30pm. There will be a short lesson at the start of our ice time, so beginners to the sport are encouraged to attend. Post-games pizza and mingling are planned at the club as well.
We ask that anyone planning to attend RSVP using this quick UBC survey link below so we can confirm numbers for pizza and adjust the number of sheets we have booked. The survey will close April 6th at midnight – a reminder email will be sent the day of if you get a thrill from procrastinating.
If you’ve never been to the Vancouver curling club or just enjoy clicking on links in emails check out the google maps location below:
There are very few events in the social calendar that allow us to get to know our staff and trainee colleagues in a relaxed/fun setting so we encourage everyone to come out and enjoy themselves amongst some fabulous company!
Hope to see you all soon,
UBC Residents’ Social Committee
