Your bi-weekly roundup of what’s new and what’s happening at UBC Vancouver and Okanagan
Announcing a new faculty and staff newsletter – UBC Today
We’re excited to announce the Working at UBC newsletter will soon be relaunching as UBC Today – a new and improved bi-weekly newsletter that makes it even easier to learn about what’s new and what’s happening for faculty and staff.
As a current subscriber, there isn’t anything you need to do to receive the new UBC Today newsletter. In fact, beginning later this month, all faculty and staff in Vancouver and the Okanagan will receive the newsletter automatically.
We cannot change the past, but we can honestly recognize it: New from Professor Ono’s blog
“This past weekend, I was honoured and humbled to participate in the raising of Reconciliation Pole at UBC’s Vancouver campus. It was gratifying to see so many people turn out for this important occasion and to hear from residential school survivors such as Elder Barney Williams and Pauline Jones, who spoke with courage and candour of the abuse they suffered and witnessed.”
