This message is intended for faculty and staff members who are interested in booking UBC FoM rooms for meetings, workshops and departmental events. Please distribute widely within your department and division as appropriate.
I would like to inform you that we are now accepting room booking request for non-curriculum sessions such as meetings, workshops and departmental events for July 2017 to June 2018. We welcome requests for new bookings and extension of existing bookings.
Users who would like to extend their existing bookings are encouraged to submit their request by May 15. Please use the same event title and indicate ‘extension request’ in the room request form. Please note, bookings are not extended automatically and the same room may not be available for the new dates.
FoM rooms are typically busier on Wednesdays and Thursdays for curriculum sessions, so users are encouraged to schedule meetings, workshops and departmental events on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays for best chance of receiving suitable rooms.
Booking confirmations for requests received by May 15 will be sent starting May 16 through May 31.
