The Department of Psychiatry, at the University of British Columbia has 16 programs, within the Clinical and Behavioural Sciences Division in addition to the world class Basic Neuroscience division.  Our clinical, research and education programs have excellent, committed clinicians, teachers, researchers, support staff, students and residents.  The main Departmental offices are located centrally at the Detwiller Pavillion on the Point Grey campus and Diamond Health Care Centre at Vancouver General Hospital.  Department members are located throughout the Province in all UBC's distributed sites. The UBC Department of Psychiatry is recognized and ranked among the top psychiatric university programs in North America, with outstanding achievements in teaching, research and patient care.
