Switching E-mail clients from POP to Exchange mode

In the attempt to move accounts off of the failing Interchange e-mail server, we have taken the short cut of providing you with instructions for changing your e-mail client (e.g. Outlook or Entourage) from the Interchange e-mail server, to the FASmail server, without changing the server communication protocol from POP to Exchange.

Switching to the Exchange protocol will allow you to see the same e-mail on your computer that you see in the webmail version at mail.ubc.ca and will also allow you to use other features better.

Please use the following links for documentation to change your e-mail client from POP to Exchange;

Mac Mail users can switch directly from Interchange POP protocol to FASmail Exchange protocol, by following these instructions.
