The University of British Columbia¹s Faculty of Education offers the first and only professional Master¹s program in Canada to address the vocational effects of neurological, physical, sensory, psychiatric, neuropsychological and pain-related disabilities. This degree program is offered through blended online & face-to-face delivery, part-time over three years making it accessible to working professionals.
The program is responsive to the needs of Canadian vocational rehabilitation and provides a uniquely Canadian perspective on vocational rehabilitation counselling and the environment where it is being delivered. Highly trained vocational rehabilitation professionals are a key prerequisite to the success of Canadian rehabilitation and employment programs for persons with disabilities. UBC¹s graduate program is an essential component in addressing nation-wide labour shortages in these leadership positions.
