RE: UBC Pre-Selection Process for 2013 NSERC RTI
This email is intended for researchers who intend to submit an application to the NSERC Research Tools and Instruments (RTI) Grants Program.
The following is an excerpt from the newsletter, SPARC Connects, May 1, 2013 (see attached):
UBC Pre-Selection Process for 2013 NSERC RTI Applications
UBC RTI Pre-Selection Deadline: Tuesday, September 10, 2013
SPARC would like to advise all UBC researchers who are considering applying for NSERC RTI funding in the upcoming 2013 competition that a new peer review committee will be utilized for a pre-selection process. Given the recent changes to the RTI funding model by NSERC, UBC is now required to pre-select a quota of 31 applications which are then submitted to the national RTI competition.
Please note the UBC application pre-selection deadline will be on September 10, 2013, to the SPARC Office. Ranking of all potential UBC RTI applications will be completed by the peer review committee and results will be made available to applicants by September 27, 2013. Further details explaining the RTI pre-selection requirements will be available in a future SPARC Connects newsletter. SPARC contact: David Woods.
Please direct any questions about the UBC RTI Pre-Selection Process to David Woods, Ph.D., Research Partnership Officer (Natural Sciences and Engineering) at SPARC.
