Telehealth Academic Rounds: Dr. Nicole Tsang Breast Feeding and Depression : Bonded but Blue’ for the Telehealth Academic Round

22ND AUGUST 2013, 12.00-1.00PM. REPEAT ‘BREASTFEEDING AND DEPRESSION: BONDED BUT BLUE’ TELEHEALTH ACADEMIC ROUNDS.

On May 7th 2013, Dr Nicole Tsang, a psychiatrist in the BC Reproductive Mental Health Service presented ‘Breast Feeding and Depression : Bonded but Blue’ for the Telehealth Academic Rounds series. It was exceptionally popular and a number of people were unable to attend. This is a repeat presentation of the materials presented by Dr Tsang on 7th May. Please feel free to circulate this invite to any colleagues who may be interested in joining us via Telehealth.

This presentation is scheduled for Thursday August 22nd, 2013 (see poster below). Should you wish to join us via Telehealth, please respond to kthomaspeter@cw.bc.ca at the latest by the end of Friday 9th August with the following information:

1) Your location (city/hospital) and Telehealth site/room that you have booked,

2) A contact person for your site who will be responsible for arriving 15 minutes early to participate in the test call and distributing slides, evaluation materials and a sign in sheet. The evaluation and sign in sheet will need to be returned to the meeting organizer after the presentation.

We have designed a Help Guide to answer most frequently asked questions about the following: Requirements of a Telehealth site, room booking procedures for Telehealth, B.C. sites with Telehealth capacity, booking & contact person information and in-person attendance. You will find the guide attached to this email.

A Note for Physicians: The Reproductive Mental Health Academic Rounds are a self-approved group learning activity (Section 1) as defined by the maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Physicians who attend via Telehealth are eligible are able to earn MOC Section 1 credits so long as they sign and return the attendance and evaluation form. These forms will be emailed to the site contact in advance of the presentation
