2013.07.24 – Shared printer renaming

The departments shared printers have been renamed, to make their identification easier.  New names, that start with the building name abbreviation, will show after you restart your computer  To get rid of the old printer names;

Windows 7

  1. Click Start, type “Devices and Printers”, then press Enter
  2. For any of the printers listed below, right click and select “Remove device”

Windows Vista

  1. Click Start, type “Printers”, then press Enter
  2. For any of the printers listed below, right click and select “Delete”

Windows XP

  1. Click Start > Printers and Faxes
  2. For any of the printers listed below, right click and select “Delete”
