We have Calen Pick (nephew of actress Glenn Close and an active member of the BringChange2Mind.org as well as artist and person with lived experience). We have Chris Summerville as our Master of Ceremony and our first Keynote of the conference from the Manitoba Schizophrenia Society. We are also excited to announce that we will have Sapna Mahajan from the Mental Health Commission launching the Aspiring Workforce Project and Heather Stuart presenting on Stigma as a Barrier to Recovery. Brenda Restoule will end our conference presenting on Anishnabe Concepts of Recovery. There will be 24 workshops available for continued learning and collaboration opportunities. We also have the Sagkeeng’s Dance Troup performing on Tuesday at lunch in the main ballroom. They won Canada’s Got Talent and have performed all over Canada and the U.S.A.
Our second Housing Symposium follows on Thursday and Friday with opportunities to collaborate, connect and share your expertise and knowledge and learn from others.
