UBC is offering free influenza (flu) immunizations throughout November on the UBC Vancouver (Point Grey) campus.
The clinics are free for students, faculty and staff and are held on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit the Risk Management Services website to reserve your spot:

Influenza spreads easily from person to person through coughing, sneezing, or having face-to-face contact. The influenza (flu) vaccine is a safe and effective way to help people stay healthy, prevent illness, and even save lives. The influenza vaccine is the best protection against influenza illness and its complications.
Risk Management Services has partnered with the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of Nursing, Student Health Services, and Workplace Health Services to coordinate the free clinics. This year, inter-professional teams of medical, nursing and pharmacy students will administer the vaccinations under direct supervision of registered nurses and University faculty.
