With the holiday season approaching, some of the passwords that you use may be expiring, while you are away. Please be proactive and change any that may expire, before you go.
Along with phishing attempts, to break into our computer systems, come spear-phishing attempts. Spear-phishing directly targets a particular person. As an example;
A faculty member receives an email from a charity requesting their input about a fundraising drive. The attached Word Document is infected and sends the user’s login credentials to the hacker, which allows the bad guys to completely take over the computer
