UBC is committed to exploring all aspects of sustainability and to a deep integration of our operational and academic sustainability efforts. Building on these commitments and UBC’s globally recognized successes in this area, the University is developing a 20-year Sustainability Strategy for the Vancouver campus.
As part of the consultation process with faculty, staff, students and community members you are invited to one of several upcoming faculty and staff workshops. These workshops are your opportunity to hear proposed ideas on sustainability at UBC and provide feedback on the draft strategic directions across teaching, learning and research; operations and infrastructure; and community.
Join us over a free hot lunch at one of the following workshops.
· March 5: 11:30 – 1:00, Irving K. Barber Learning Centre (TBD)
· March 6: 12:00 – 1:30, Fred Kaiser Building 2020/2030
· March 20: 11:30 – 1:00, Aquatic Ecosystems Research Laboratory 107
After you register, you will be redirected to complete an 8-minute survey on the draft vision (complete the survey to enter to win an iPad Mini). The survey closes February 20th.
