2014 Fiscal Year End Timelines
In order to meet UBC 2014 Fiscal Year End Timelines, All requisitions for payment, travel requisitions, Journal Voucher (JV), and Smart Forms must be received by Department Administration Office – attention Vicky Yau, by noon, Friday, March 14, 2014 for 2nd signature as per Faculty of Medicine’s Approval of Expenditures guidelines. This will allow enough time for review & approval (Department Head signature will be arranged by Vicky after receipt & review). Once requisitions are approved, Vicky will forward on for processing.
Effectively immediately, please clearly write ‘13/14’ on the top of each document to be entered into the 2013/2014 fiscal year.

March 28, Friday:
(8 pm) – Deadline for Web Cash Receipt (on-line cash deposit) data entry
April 2, Wednesday:
(Noon) – Preliminary March ledgers distributed
May 27, Tuesday:
(Noon) – Final March Ledgers distributed
Please note that KPMG will be undertaking an audit of the financial statement of the University for the fiscal year ended March 31 2014. Please note that the audit program (page 5 – 8 in the attached memo) will be prepared & submitted by the Department Administration Office. Please DO NOT submit this report yourself. The Department Finance Manager, Vicky Yau, will be in contact with you if additional information is needed for this report.
