Please join us for a series of introductory talks on Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Spectroscopy. The purpose of these talks is to introduce summer students and new undergraduate and graduate students to MRI and MRS. We will cover the basics of magnetic resonance signal formation, the generation of images by spatial encoding, magnetic resonance signal decay and more advanced concepts such as diffusion, magnetic susceptibility or myelin imaging. The target audience is magnetic resonance scientists but we encourage everyone who uses MRI/MRS for their research or who has an interest in MRI/MRS to join us. Please distribute within your departments and groups.
