On September 26, 2014, the University of British Columbia (UBC) Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences will host a new event dedicated to profiling the research accomplishments of some of its most distinguished alumni. Titled “Agents of Change Research Symposium: The Global Impact of UBC Pharm Sci Alumni,” the full-day symposium is designed to showcase the impact UBC Pharmaceutical Sciences alumni have made in the world of pharmaceuticals, medical science and patient care.
The formal speaking program, commencing at 8:45 a.m. with opening remarks by Dr. Helen Burt, UBC Associate VP – Research & International, includes presentations by seven world-class researchers:
