CAUSA: Centre/surround art exhibition
A new exhibition explores ‘creative’ artist’s practice and ‘purposeful’ curatorial research. Ken Lum, artist and designer of the infamous “East Van” logo, and a former Vancouverite, says the exhibition looks at cross-cultural themes. CAUSA is on display until November 30 in the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre, in the level 2 foyer.In honour of Remembrance Day, this month’s featured collection is photography from the British Press in World War I. Explore the collection.

In this month’s issue of LibFOCUS, we invite our readers to celebrate 50 years of Woodward Library; share a new app that provides easy access to scholarly journals; and cover highlights from the 5th annual UBC Library/United Way Spelling Bee.
Woodward Library’s collections cover a broad range of disciplines, including medicine, science, dentistry and forestry a – to name a few. Woodward has the largest biomedical collection in Western Canada, and is one of the most used branches on the Point Grey campus.
