The University recently entered into an agreement with AAPS. Pursuant to that agreement the University is informing you that if at any time you are considering entering into an individual agreement with an AAPS member that would provide for different terms and conditions of employment than are set out in the Agreement on Conditions and Terms of Employment (ACTE), UBC HR needs to be aware of the situation prior to any substantive negotiations taking place with the employee.
Therefore, if you intend to hire a M&P (AAPS) employee and are considering offering terms and conditions of employment outside of the AAPS agreement or if you currently supervise a M&P employee and are considering making modifications to the current terms and conditions of employment, please contact Mary Liu, HR Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 604-822-7315 prior to initiating any discussions with the employee.
