Campus and Community Planning
As public stewards, we are accountable for ensuring that any choices made about land, buildings, infrastructure and transportation serve UBC’s core academic mission and advance sustainability.

Safe and Sustainable Transportation Month
UBC is committed to creating a pedestrian and cyclist-friendly campus community.

Throughout May, we’re celebrating safe, active and sustainable transportation with activities and events aimed at promoting walking and cycling on campus!

There’s an event for everyone including Jane’s Walk, Walk n Roll to School and Bike to Work Week. The UBC English Language Institute logged the most kilometers last year – who will take the crown in 2015? And if your bike needs a little TLC, there’s free community bike clinics to make sure you’re safe on the road this May.
Check out the website for more information.
Transportation Q&A with Krista Falkner
