Campus and Community Planning
As public stewards, we are accountable for ensuring that any choices made about land, buildings, infrastructure and transportation serve UBC’s core academic mission and advance sustainability.
Univeristy Boulevard Area Planning Update
We would like to thank everyone who provided input during the April 2015 consultation on the University Boulevard area planning. The April consultation report is now available and many of the recurring comments received were incorporated into the final outcomes.
After this extensive consultation and planning process, on June 9, the UBC Board of Governors made a number of key decisions related to the University Boulevard precinct, including approving the amendments to University Boulevard Neighbourhood Plan and updated University Boulevard Design Guidelines.

Hundreds of students, staff and faculty are engaged in advancing sustainability research and practices across campus every day, whether in the classroom, field, office, or lab.
