UBC Faculty & Staff can get free admission to the UBC Attractions at the Vancouver campus, by showing their UBC Card. You can visit the Museum of Anthropology, the UBC Botanical Garden and Nitobe Memorial Garden, as well as to the Beaty Biodiversity Museum and the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery.

Healthy UBC Initiatives are free ongoing university-wide programs, trainings and educational opportunities that focus on promoting positive mental health and physical wellbeing for staff, faculty and departments.
Each September, UBC staff are invited to a Welcome Back BBQ hosted by Human Resources and produced by Ceremonies & Events. This is a great opportunity to visit with your colleagues and to tour the booths showcasing services to UBC staff. Look for the email invitation in August.

Theatre at UBC is recognized as one of Canada’s foremost Theatre programs. Plays feature artists on faculty and guest companies from around the world, as well as graduate and undergraduate theatre students. Faculty and staff receive 2 for 1 tickets to any Theatre at UBC season production at the Frederic Wood Theatre or TELUS Studio Theatre.
UBC faculty and staff are eligible for complimentary subscriptions to the University Affairs magazine, as UBC is a member of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC).
Staff and faculty at the Okanagan campus have access to recreational activities and facilities, and can attend Heat varsity sports games.
