Our team has been working hard to create an impactful event and we are excited to announce our Keynote Address, to be given by the Honourable James Cowan, former Senator for Nova Scotia who introduced Senate Bill S-201, Canada’s Genetic Non-Discrimination Act.
Senator Cowan will speak about his role in this landmark piece of legislation, and will touch upon key considerations for translating healthcare innovation into healthcare policy. He will be followed by this year’s lineup of speakers, focusing on our key themes:
- Partnering with patients to create a clinical research environment
- The impact of big data & genomics on patients, privacy, and practice
- Legislation of innovation and how health care policy decisions are made
- The business of healthcare from startup to scale up
This will be a full-day event, starting at 9AM sharp and concluding with a reception from 4PM onwards. The schedule for the day will follow the same format as last year, with short talks and breaks designed to encourage networking and collaboration.
Please REGISTER TODAY, I hope you join us as we once again come together to break down the barriers between healthcare innovation and practical application.
