The WCUC is the first of several initiatives being planned by the medical schools from the University of British Columbia, University of Alberta, University of Calgary, University of Saskatchewan, and University of Manitoba.
This two-day event will include keynote addresses by Dr. Andrea Lodie (Canada Excellence Research Chair in Data Science for Real-Time Decision-Making at Polytechnique Montréal) and Dr. JP Casas Romero (Professor, Institute of Health Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology, University College London or UCL, England).
Additional highlights include presentations and panel discussions, poster presentations, project pitches, workshops, and networking opportunities.
