Dear Clinical Faculty Members,
The call for expressions of interest in the role of Clinical Faculty Affairs Department Representative has concluded, and we are pleased to announce that Dr. Heather Robertson has been re-elected by acclamation to this role for further a three-year term, effective July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2020.
As the Clinical Faculty Affairs Representative for Psychiatry, Dr. Robertson will continue to serve as your representative and as the crucial link between the Department and the Clinical Faculty Affairs office, participating in the Faculty of Medicine Clinical Faculty Affairs Committee (CFAC) as well in other committees in the Department. The CFAC represents the interests of Clinical Faculty across the province and assesses the effects of academic policy changes on Clinical Faculty. The CFAC also works in the areas of appointment and promotion, recognition and remuneration, faculty education development and Faculty of Medicine representation as it relates to clinical faculty.
The Department sincerely thanks Dr. Robertson for her ongoing dedication and commitment as she continues her hard work representing the clinical faculty and the interests of the Department in this important role.
