National sesquicentennial program recognizes 150 Leading Canadians for Mental Health

VANCOUVER, Oct. 16, 2017 /CNW/ – From more than 3,700 names put forward from across the country, 27 people from British Columbia and Northern Canada will be honoured as Canadians who are changing the course of mental health.

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) launched Difference Makers: 150 Leading Canadians for Mental Health in January 2017, with Morneau Shepell as Presenting Partner. Canadians were invited to nominate someone who has made a difference through research, philanthropy, advocacy, social change or inspiration. Nominations closed on Canada Day, 2017.

Media are invited to attend an event celebrating honourees and are required to confirm their attendance through media@morneaushepell.com.
