Support UBC’s Blue & Gold Campaign for Students

Yesterday, the university launched the largest fundraising campaign for students in UBC history. With the goal of raising $100 million, UBC’s new Blue & Gold Bursaries aim to provide support for deserving students with demonstrated financial need. Read Professor Santa Ono’s latest blog post to learn more. 

UBC-V: Attend the open house retirement celebration for Lisa Castle, Dec. 12

As staff and faculty, you are invited to join HR at an open house reception to honour Lisa Castle, Vice-President, HR, as she prepares for her retirement, and celebrate accomplishments achieved as a community. Learn more. 

Submit your procurement and payment requisitions before the year-end cutoff

Ensure that your reimbursements make it to you before the end of the year, as Financial Operations will be closed over the holidays. Review the Financial Operations’ website for a list of key year-end dates, deadlines and info. Learn more.

UBC-V: Free mammography clinic on campus, Dec. 5

If you’re a female staff or faculty member (age 40+), you are invited to book a free mammogram next Tuesday at the BC Cancer Agency’s mobile mammography clinic. Learn more.
