ATTENTION: SEEKING UBC ENTREPRENEURS WITH TRANSFORMATIVE LIFE SCIENCE & HUMAN HEALTH STARTUP OPPORTUNITIES
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It’s that time again: entrepreneurship@UBC is recruiting for our 2018 Life Science Venture cohort!
We’re looking for entrepreneurial faculty, staff and students who are passionate about building a transformative life science venture and are in need of resources and expert guidance. Please circulate this information memorandum amongst your colleagues, staff and students.
This competitive, phased cohort includes periodic workshops and one-on-one mentoring with life science entrepreneurs, running from March through to September 2018. Ventures will be competing for membership in e@UBC’s coveted venture-building Hatch program. Hatch membership benefits include a dedicated life science Entrepreneur-in-Residence, exclusive programming, events, networking opportunities, and access to the UBC Seed Fund.
Total value of the program and Hatch venture building experience exceeds $50,000. Total cost to the venture: nothing but their time, commitment, and passion!
Please circulate widely, and if you or a colleague would like to discuss this program or other opportunities to target a specific audience in you faculty, department, institute or school, please let me know.
