I am pleased to announce the 12 successful proposals selected in the first round of our faculty renewal process, focused on the recruitment of junior faculty in the areas of translational medicine and innovation, and critical succession.
Addressing the aging demographics of our faculty through faculty renewal is critical to our success as outlined in our strategic plan, Building the Future. I am extremely grateful for the investment made by the Provost and UBC Executive in support of this initiative and the exciting opportunities each position will bring to our community.
