In the past year our postgrad program has changed the frequency and robustness of our mock OSCEs for the PGY5s. I’m writing to you to ask if you would be interested in being an examiner for our mock OSCE’s held in Vancouver at the Diamond Health Care Centre (2775 Laurel Street).
This academic year we have sessions in mid-March and May, but we are also looking at developing a pool of examiners to draw from moving forward.
These mock OSCE’s are a full day event, and having as many faculty involved would ease the burden of the examiners we already have. It would be possible to do a morning, an afternoon, or an entire day if you are so inclined.
You would be reimbursed for your time with the residents, and there will be food and refreshments provided as well.
If you are interested, or have any questions, please get in touch with Ross Hilliam (Ross.Hilliam@ubc.ca). He is our Program Assistant who will be organizing these events.
