OSCE Faculty Development Session
Thursday, September 19, 2019
5pm – 8pm
DHCC/VGH and via Videoconference to other locations
Dr. Paul Dagg, Associate Head, Postgraduate Education & Continuing Professional Development, will be holding a faculty development session to help interested faculty strengthen their skills as mock OSCE examiners. The mock OSCEs are an integral part of our residents’ preparation for their Royal College OSCE exams, which take place in June of their PGY5 year. From PGY2 onwards, the residents participate in mock OSCEs to practice and gain familiarity with the exam format in a mock setting.
Dr. Dagg’s faculty development session is an excellent opportunity for all faculty, new or seasoned, to streamline their examining skills in order to support our residents in their development, year-round. Certificates for “Maintenance of Certification” (MOC) credits will also be available upon request.
Please complete our online survey to let us know if you are interested in attending this or future development sessions and/or would be interested in becoming a mock OSCE examiner.
