CPSBC PPEP Update: New Assessment Standard for Psychiatrists – For Your Review and Feedback

In consultation with assessors, medical advisors and the UBC Department of Psychiatry, the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSBC) Physician Practice Enhancement Program (PPEP) has drafted a new assessment standard for psychiatrists.  The Physician Practice Enhancement Panel has recently approved of the draft, and the CPSBC is now seeking broader consultation and feedback on this draft assessment standard.

If you are a psychiatrist registered with the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons, you are encouraged to review the draft standard titled Medical Record for the Psychiatrist in an Outpatient Setting, and provide your feedback here.  The feedback questionnaire will be open until Friday October 25, 2019.

**Interested psychiatrists/CPSBC registrants are also invited to review the draft standard titled Emergency Preparedness for Staff and Patients in a Psychiatrist Clinical Office, and may provide feedback here.
