MD Undergraduate Admissions: Interviewers Needed

The MD Undergraduate Admissions Office would like to invite you to apply to participate as an interviewer for our next round of MD admission interviews (multiple mini-interviews-MMI). If you would like to be an interviewer, please follow the instructions provided to submit an application.

The application will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and is due Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 11:59 PM PST. The application asks for information about your background and availability, both of which will be taken into consideration as we try to include interviewers from across the Faculty of Medicine and community, and not simply those associated with the MD program. When completing the application please use any web browser other than Internet Explorer, as there are known system compatibility issues.

The MMI dates for this cycle are:

  • Saturday, February 1, 2020
  • Sunday, February 2, 2020
  • Saturday, February 8, 2020
  • Sunday, February 9, 2020

Interviewer training sessions take place on Friday, January 31 and Friday, February 7. All interviews will be held in Vancouver and the training session prior to your scheduled weekend is mandatory, even if you have been an interviewer before. Interviewers from the Vancouver region must be available for at least one full day of interviewing, while out of town interviewers must be available for one full weekend. The MD Admissions office will make travel and accommodation arrangements for out of town interviewers who are chosen to participate.

Please understand that you cannot be an interviewer if you know that you, a family member, personal friend, or close acquaintance is applying for medical school this year or in the near future.

If you have additional questions, please contact Seanna Martin at For help completing the application please review our comprehensive Help Guide.

We know that your time is valuable, and we thank you for considering this important role in our admissions selection process. Without the support of people like you we would not be able to evaluate so many qualified applicants.
