Call for Nominations for the 2020 UBC Faculty of Medicine Awards – Department Internal Process

Dear UBC Psychiatry Faculty Members,

Following the Dean’s Call for Nominations for the 2020 UBC Faculty of Medicine Awards on January 22, 2020, I wish to announce that the Department will carry out an internal nomination and selection process for the Award Categories listed below. Hence, at this initial stage we invite nominations for (or self-nominations from) any qualified academic or clinical faculty members who wish to be considered for any one of these awards.

At this initial stage, the only required document is the Nominee’s CV. Please submit your nomination at this link: https://ubc.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5hzj9hrYvRtkxcF   by 4:30pm on Friday February 21, 2020.

Once all nominees and self-nominees have been submitted by the Department deadline, all nominations will be reviewed by a subcommittee who will make a recommendation to the Department Head. The Department Head will then submit Department nominee(s) for each award to the Faculty of Medicine. Prior to the Dean’s Office submission deadline of April 9, 2020, the Psychiatry administration office will work directly with the Department Nominees in obtaining additional documentation (ie. evaluation forms, reference letters etc.) to complete the nomination package to be submitted.
