Congratulations to Dr. Tim Murphy, Awarded $2.3M through the Canadian Foundation for Innovation!

 

Congratulations to Dr. Tim Murphy, who has been awarded $2.3 million through the Canadian Foundation for Innovation (CFI) for his project titled “iMAP in vivo Mesoscale Assessment of neuroProjectomes.”  His project is one of five CFI-funded projects led by UBC Faculty of Medicine researchers, totaling $8 million.

The funding, announced on March 3, 2021 by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, totals more than $518 million and will support 102 projects at 60 universities, colleges and research hospitals across the country. This infrastructure funding is a major investment in innovative, world-class research to benefit all Canadians, and aims to maintain Canada’s position at the forefront of exploration and knowledge generation by supporting our nation’s leading researchers.
