VGH Learning Environment Joint Survey

** Sent on behalf of Dr. Sonia Butterworth, Assistant Dean, PGME, UBC & Dr. Ravi Sidhu, Associate Dean, PGME, UBC **

Hi to all,

As we wrap up this academic year and look ahead to the next, the PGME Office, in collaboration with VGH leadership, is seeking your input on the work and learning environment at VGH with a short survey.

During the UBC 2020 Royal College Accreditation, the VGH learning environment was flagged as a concern on multiple program reports as well as the PGME Institutional report.  This survey seeks to better understand the scope and impact of the issues affecting residents and faculty who work at VGH.  The survey was developed with input from the VGH Learning Environment working group (which has multiple stakeholders including leadership from the hospital, education, clinical, allied health, PGME, as well as residents).  Results will be shared with stakeholders and programs.  Ongoing collaboration amongst all stakeholders will be key in developing action items and recommendations to realize improvements.

We greatly value your input and expect the survey to take approximately 5 minutes to complete. The survey will remain open until July 30, 2021.
