Windows 8.1 became our default operating system in Fall 2013. In order for our existing management systems to work and to make the transition easier for users of older Windows operating systems, your computer will go to the traditional desktop, after you log on. Tablet users should drag up, from the bottom edge of the screen, to enter your logon username and passphrase. Psychiatry IT has prepared some Windows 8.1 tips, to help you get going. We will no longer support Windows 8.1 or allow it on our network, after January 10, 2023.
Windows 7 Professional only available for installation on your computers, if newer versions of Windows will not allow you to conduct UBC business. We will no longer support Windows 7 or allow it on our network, after January 14, 2020.
