UBC’s strategic plan, Shaping UBC’s Next Century, sets out UBC’s vision, purpose, values and goals, as well as the themes and core areas that shape UBC’s strategies for the years ahead. One core area includes a systems renewal which the Integrated Renewal Program (IRP) will deliver.

The Integrated Renewal Program (IRP) is a business process transformation and UBC has selected Workday as the core enterprise system to replace UBC’s Student Information System (SIS), Human Resource Management System (HRMS), and Financial Management System (FMS).

UBC’s go-live date for Workday is November 2, 2020. Click to find out how to prepare!

About the Integrated Renewal Program (IRP)

Through the IRP, the way we support learning and research, and how we work at UBC will be transformed, creating a cohesive, integrated, and enriched experience for students, staff, and faculty.

The IRP will:

  1. Support an engaged, collaborative, and exceptional learning, research, and working environment for students, staff, and faculty.
  2. Enable a cohesive alignment of practices and processes.
  3. Create a simple, intuitive, consistent user experience where we interact with confidence and ease.
  4. Ensure reliable, integrated, and accessible institutional data that enables people to make informed, strategic decisions.
  5. Position UBC and its people to embrace opportunities and adapt to future needs and requirements.
  6. Provide robust, secure, sustainable solutions that are fiscally responsible.
