NEW! Learner-focused Mistreatment Reporting Webinar, December 11

Dear Residents and Students,

Over the last year, the Department of Psychiatry conducted a Mistreatment Reporting Survey for Faculty, Staff and Graduate Students and encouraged residents to participate in environmental scans of our learning and workplace programs/sites in Northern and Fraser Health. A key finding of the survey was that while many members of the Department are aware of support systems, some remain uncertain about reporting procedures. As part of our action plan, to improve trust in reporting and to ensure awareness and accessibility of resources, we are offering a dedicated learner-focused Mistreatment Reporting Workshop on Thursday, December 11th.

Led by the Faculty of Medicine’s Robyn Campol, Learning Environment Advisor, this session will be for residents and students only, offering a safe space to ask questions. In this webinar, you will learn the different reporting steps for Learner Mistreatment Reporting, what constitutes mistreatment, as well as where, how, and to whom to report, so that everyone in our community feels informed and empowered

When:        Thursday, December 11, 2025, 12:00 pm
Where:      Microsoft Teams

Format & Privacy: The session will be delivered as a Teams webinar, with a 25-minutes presentation followed by a Q&A where participants may choose to submit questions anonymously. This session will not be recorded.

If you are unable to attend and would like to submit a question for Robyn and Tammy, please do so here…

Thank you again for helping us build inclusive, respectful and safe work and learning environments that value diversity and are free of harassment and discrimination.
