Seizure Awareness Workshop
Presented by the BC Epilepsy Society
About 1 out of 12 people will have a seizure in their lifetime. Epilepsy, a neurological condition that involves recurring seizures, affects approximately 40,000 people in BC. This workshop will province accurate and up-to-date information about epilepsy and seizures. This includes how to recognize different types of seizures and types of assistance/first aid which may be required during and after a seizure.
The BC Epilepsy Society empowers, educates, and supports British Columbians living with epilepsy.
