General Attendee Registration
If you are planning to attend the 2023 UBC Psychiatry Research Day either in person or via Zoom on Thursday June 8th, be sure to register by completing the online Attendee Registration Form by Sunday May 28, 2023! Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email (this may land in your Junk Mail folder).
*Please note that in-person attendees must pre-order their lunch option by May 28, 2023 using the Attendee Registration Form. Those who do not register will not be guaranteed to receive lunch.
** Unfortunately, lunch will only be provided for in-person attendees. The event cannot cover lunch for those attending via Zoom.
Presenting Your Research | ePosters and In-Person Posters
ePOSTERS
Those who have submitted an abstract by the deadline of April 15, 2023 will be eligible to present their research in the form of an ePoster in the Virtual ePoster Gallery (unless otherwise notified; all abstracts must undergo review).

- Your electronic poster must be in PowerPoint for presentation on the online poster gallery
- ePoster Templates: UBC has developed a template for ePosters in PowerPoint format, which you are free to use. Simply add your text, images and graphs into these templates to create and customize your ePoster:
- Adding an audio file to your ePoster:
- Your audio file should not exceed 2 minutes
- Ensure that a Sound icon is clearly visible in your ePoster
- For instructions on how to add audio to your ePoster in Powerpoint, click here
- Please submit your ePoster as a single Powerpoint file using the online ePOSTER SUBMISSION FORM by Monday May 15, 2023 (11:59pm).

IN-PERSON POSTERS
Abstracts submitted by the deadline of April 15, 2023 will undergo selections for In-Person Posters, and presenters will be notified in early May.
IN-PERSON POSTER GUIDELINES

- If your poster is selected, you must attend Research Day in person
- You must prepare a poster that will fit within the dimensions of a standard poster (UBC horizontal poster template is 48″ x 36″)
- You must arrive by 8:15am on June 8th at the venue in order to hang your poster on the designated poster board.
- Please make an effort to attend to your poster during the poster viewer sessions in the morning and during the noon-hour lunch break.

LIGHTNING TALKS
Abstracts submitted by the deadline of April 15, 2023 will undergo selections for Lightning Talks, and presenters will be notified in early May.
LIGHTNING TALK GUIDELINES

- If you are selected for a Lightning Talk, you must attend Research Day in person
- You must prepare a short PowerPoint presentation that is approximately 3-4 minutes in duration, with 4 slides maximum (1 cover slide + 3 presentation slides).
- A Q&A session will follow after all speakers in the set have presented.
- Those selected for a Lightning Talk Presentation may also submit an ePoster if they choose, or may opt out.
