Dear Department members,
It is with mixed feelings that we announce the departure of our dear colleague, Ms. Linda Chang, from her role as Postgraduate Program Manager for the Department of Psychiatry, as she has accepted a role in the UBC Faculty of Medicine Faculty Development Office as a Faculty Feedback Support Analyst. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Linda for her incredible dedication and hard work over the past 8 years, and are confident she will continue to have a significant impact in her new role. Her final working day with the Department will be Friday, February 28, 2025.
Linda has been a member of the UBC Psychiatry Education team since 2017, and prior to stepping into her current role, served as Education Coordinator for our Postgraduate program. She has been a valued member of our team, responsible for managing day-to-day operations and providing support to the Department’s general psychiatry specialty program and three postgraduate subspecialty residency training programs. Additionally, she has provided invaluable organizational support to the annual CaRMS process, as well as STACERS for PGY3-5 and other resident examinations.
A recruitment process is currently underway for her position. As of March 1, 2025, if you require assistance with any matters related to Linda’s responsibilities during this period, please reach out to Ahsan Sahibzada, Senior Program Assistant, PGE, or Eva Angelopoulos, Senior Education Programs Manager.
Please join us in congratulating Linda and wishing her all the best in her new role!
Sincerely,
Margaret Koshi
