The Space Allocation Committee of the Department of Psychiatry is dedicated to the fair and efficient distribution of physical space within the department. Its primary purpose is to assess and prioritize space needs across various functions, ensuring that resources are allocated in a manner that supports the department’s strategic goals and operational requirements in accordance with UBC and the Faculty of Medicine’s space allocation policies and guidelines. By making informed recommendations to the Department Head, the committee plays a crucial role in optimizing the use of available space to support the department’s mission and provide a welcoming environment for everyone.
